I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. The beginning of my career focused primarily on providing solutions for acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, scar tissue and postural misalignments utilizing fascial release, sports massage and assisted stretching techniques.

Later in my career I began working with clients post cancer treatment/lymph node removal as well as clients recovering from surgery. I utilized Manual Lymph Drainage to reduce their swelling and pain. Working with both populations was the catalyst for me to dive deeper into anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system and safe practices for cancer survivors and post-surgical clients.

I received advanced training from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies; obtaining a certification as a Lymphedema Therapist and a Post-Surgical Bodywork Specialist.  I acquired a vast amount of knowledge including advanced MLD techniques, compression bandaging, fibrosis reduction techniques, medical grade foam application, lymphatic KT taping and compression garment selection/ fitting.

I am passionate about helping people meet their wellness goals; employing the knowledge I have gained as an LMT & CLT. I enjoy explaining how our lymphatic systems work, discussing stretching, self-massage techniques & lifestyle changes the client can implement to help manage swelling, reduce pain & support their overall health & well-being.

 

I am dedicated to providing safe, effective, compassionate & evidence-based bodywork services; helping clients reduce swelling, alleviate pain, mobilize scar tissue, eliminate fibrosis & achieve the best post-surgical result possible.
